Thoughts of Grace Quotes

Words can not express how much I love and appreciate grace. I am so far from perfect, but God has seen fit to bless me with an amazing life. I wanted to share these thoughts of grace with you because we should never underestimate its power. We should never take grace for granted or abuse the beauty of grace. Grace is instrumental in why I am alive today. God has exchanged favor in return for what I justly deserved. So every day I try to not only give praise for God's grace but to offer the gift of grace to others. I pray for a mindset to do good for others without measuring their worthiness. This is what God has done for me. And I am a better woman for it.

Seven thoughts of grace

"A man can no more take in a supply of grace for the future than he can eat enough today to last him for the next 6 months, nor can he inhale sufficient air into his lungs with one breath to sustain life for a week to come. We are permitted to draw upon God's store of grace from day to day as we need it."

- Dwight L. Moody

"But if is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace."
- Romans 11:6 ESV
"The text says that when the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he loved her. God was saying, 'I am the real bridegroom. I am the husband of the husbandless. I am the father of the fatherless.' This is the God who saves by grace. The Gods of moralistic religions favor the successful and the overachievers. They are the ones who climb the moral ladder up to heaven. But the God of the Bible is the one who comes down into this world to accomplish a salvation and give us a grace we could never attain ourselves."
- Tim Keller
Thoughts of Grace Quotes

"Grace puts its hand on the boasting mouth, and shuts it once for all."

- Charles Spurgeon
"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefor I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
- 2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV
"God is able to cause all things people do to us, even the bad things, to work together for our good (Rom. 8:28). That isn't to say that all things are good, but that God can orchestrate the evil into a symphony of glory."
- Sam Storms
